I was auditioning the PW Terminator some more yesterday after about two weeks of burn in. It's overall wonderful but slightly coarse.

I was hit by the HDA-5230Mk2.
The most surprising thing was that when I listened to a recording, a recording of the guitar and the vocals, the vocals were singing in my head, but the guitar was right in front of me. No matter how you listen to it, it's in front of you. Depending on the song, it touches a little left and right, but it is always in front. With the same headphones, I could never hear it like this.
Another thing that I liked but was surprised to see that a certain pair of headphones, which I liked but had become a little old and often had to be used for new models, started sounding fresh as if they were completely different. I've also listened to a lot of other headphones that I have, and it's really fun to hear them all sound different than before. The headphone amp I already have is a good one that makes sense, I like it, I trust it, but I also thought it could be a reference in a completely different way.
It's not that I have no complaints at all about the current imbalance, but rather that the balance amps are at the level of running away barefoot. Before I talk about balance, I think this sound is probably unique. I've heard million-class headphone amps at events, but they don't compare. But that's why I can't help but wonder what it would sound like if it were balanced. The other two models (HDA-5520MK2, SCL CAP-1003) also sound great and are great when you listen to them alone, but if you listen to the 5230, they will be overshadowed. For some reason, the current drive of the 5520 did not tell the difference in sound as much as the 5230. Is it the difference in power supply? I also tried the 5230 with a clean power supply I had on hand and thought it would be even better.

Impressions of trying the new DL-103D
Since the DL-103D arrived, I tried the "ANDRES SEGOVIA GOLD DISC" that I always listen to. The following were surprising differences:
Sound freshness: The sound is clearer and clearer.
Guitar contour: The contours of the guitar as a musical instrument can be heard more clearly.
Reverberation length: The decaying reverberation of each note is long and deep.
Overall softness: The sound as a whole is very soft and pleasant to listen to.
The DL-103D was created with a reasonable idea in principle, and its aim has been realized as it is. I have a number of records that I want to continue listening to after this today (^^♪
