Bakoon Products has released two highly anticipated new amplifiers! One of them is the CAP series mono amplifier, the "CAP-1001M."
This CAP-1001M is based on the conventional CAP-1001, but uses high-quality components for the internal parts, speaker terminals, and even the material of the volume knob, just like the higher-end models. Furthermore, it features Bakoon's latest technology, the 2nd generation HBK(I) amplifier circuit, appearing as a no-feedback design mono power amplifier. For inputs, you can choose between Bakoon's proud current-transfer-only SATRI-LINK (BNC) type and the standard voltage-transfer RCA terminal type.
The width is 130mm, the same as other CAP series models, but the height and depth are slightly larger. This is because higher-grade components are used. For example, it includes banana plug-compatible speaker terminals, which the CAP-1001 could not support, as well as a built-in potentiometer that could not be included before. Furthermore, the gain control knob has been upgraded from a small 3D-printed one to a sturdy Bakelite knob, making operation easier. This Bakelite is actually quite a premium material.
And, amazingly! The front panel proudly features the kanji symbol "響," which has begun to be adopted in the new model line. It gives a special impression for a high-end model!

The other model to introduce is the SCL AMP-5522 power amplifier.
As Bakoon Products' first fully digital control power amplifier compatible with remote operation, it is a unit that thoroughly pursues fine volume adjustments and precise balance of the left and right channels. With a 10-bit relay-type high-precision digital attenuator achieving balance accuracy of less than 0.001dB, you can enjoy clear, transparent sound at any volume while suppressing distortion.
Furthermore, the AMP-5522 is equipped with an HBK(I) circuit that supports both voltage and current signals. This circuit significantly contributes to the reduction of noise and distortion compared to conventional buffer circuits, reproducing a wide range from low to high frequencies with precision and high accuracy. Despite its high-output design of up to 70W, it delivers exceptional performance with a maximum output of 58W at 1% distortion, producing deep bass and delicate treble.
The model variations are also substantial. The AMP-5522M features four RCA voltage inputs and two BNC current inputs, allowing flexible connections with various source devices as a main amplifier. On the other hand, the AMP-5522P, designed to be paired with a preamplifier, is equipped with one XLR balanced input in addition to voltage and current inputs, making it an excellent match for high-end systems.
With its sophisticated design and high driving power, the AMP-5522 demonstrates its true value across a wide range of systems.
