Bakoon Products has introduced two much-anticipated new amplifiers! One of them is the CAP-1001M, a monaural amplifier from the CAP series.
The CAP-1001M is based on the existing CAP-1001, but uses the same high-quality components as the higher-end models, from the internal parts to the speaker terminals and volume knob material. Furthermore, it employs Bakoon's latest technology, the second generation HBK(I) amplification circuit, and is now available as a monaural power amplifier with a no-feedback design. The input can be selected between the SATRI-LINK (BNC) type dedicated for current transmission, which Bakoon is proud of, and the RCA terminal type for normal voltage transmission.
The size is 130mm wide, the same as other CAP series, but the height and depth are a little larger. The reason for this is the use of higher-grade components. For example, it has a banana plug-compatible speaker terminal, which the CAP-1001 could not support, and a potentiometer, which could not be built in. Furthermore, the gain control knob has been replaced with a solid Bakelite one instead of a small 3D-printed one, making the operation easier to handle. This Bakelite is actually a surprisingly high-grade material.
And what a surprise! The front panel is proudly engraved with the "Hibiki" kanji (Chinese character) symbol that has begun to be used on newer models. It gives a special impression for high-end models!

And introducing another SCL AMP-5522 power amplifier.
This is the first Bakoon Products power amplifier with full digital control that supports remote control operation, and is a unit that thoroughly pursues fine volume adjustment and precise balance between left and right channels. 10-bit relay type high-precision 10-bit relay type high-precision 10-bit relay type high-precision digital attenuator that achieves balance accuracy of 0.001 dB or less. Digital attenuator allows you to enjoy crystal clear sound with transparency at any volume while minimizing distortion.
In addition, the AMP-5522 features an HBK(I) circuit that supports both voltage and current signals. This circuit contributes greatly to the reduction of noise and distortion compared to conventional buffer circuits, reproducing a wide range from low to high frequencies with precision and accuracy. Despite its high output design with a maximum output of 70W, even with a maximum output of 58W, which reduces distortion to 1%, it boasts excellent performance, producing deep bass and delicate treble.
A wide range of model variations are available: the AMP-5522M has four RCA voltage inputs and two BNC current inputs, allowing flexible connection to a variety of source devices as a main amplifier. On the other hand, the AMP-5522P, which is designed to be used with a preamplifier, has one XLR balanced input each in addition to voltage and current inputs, making it an excellent match for high-end systems.
Thanks to its sophisticated design and high driving power, the AMP-5522 can demonstrate its true value in a wide range of systems. In particular, its stable damping factor in the bass range brings out the depth of sound and keeps the sound quality constant at various output levels, making it suitable for any music genre.
