Simplified flat baffle without box

The unit adopts a flat baffle system 605A,B it is easy to obtain a relatively low bass level with few mid-range excitement. Planar baffles provide natural and clear sounds that cannot be obtained by enclosures. The low frequency is modest, but it is difficult to clarify the mid-low range.
We have succeeded in commercializing the baffle at a low price by luxuriously adopting the composite material of Asada cherry blossoms, which has the highest sound as a speaker material.

Adoption of round horn by cutting ebony material

The most characteristic of the YS-605P is the adoption of round horn by original ebony material shaving. It is a horn unit with little resonance by hard and dense solid ebony material. The shape of the horn is a round short type with minimal impact on the woolen unit and a horn with high cutoff frequency.

A simple network of condensers

The filter capacitor uses a high-performance lug terminal type polypropylene capacitor from Dearborn, USA, which impregnates high-strength epoxy resin in an ebony case. The speaker terminal has been replaced with the original large terminal of Yamamoto Acoustic Co., Ltd., and the contacts of the terminal part have decreased by 4 in total, and the amount of information of the music has been greatly increased.

In the past, ALTEC604,605 speakers were said to be suitable for jazz and popular, but not for classical music, but these improvements also make it more compatible with classical music.
