Mounting hole diameter: 30mm, screw spacing: 38.2mm
Allows replacement between WE205D and Chinese-made 205D, etc.
The original tube socket is made by machining fluororesin (or Combrite) and fixing pins through round machining. This ensures a stable hold on the tube without looseness, preventing sound quality degradation caused by vibrations. Additionally, the excellent insulating properties of fluororesin make it a key component in building tube amplifiers.
Description of Materials Used:
Fluororesin:Officially called polytetrafluoroethylene, it has the highest electrical insulation and dielectric properties among all solids. It also has excellent temperature resistance.
Phosphor Bronze:Used for the pins of most tube sockets (except the L series). It is strong, has excellent spring properties, and maintains stable contact.
Gold Plating:Most socket pins are plated with a non-magnetic base and then thickly gold plated (except the L series). Magnetic materials are minimized in the plating.
