Description

Dual-use design that bridges UX and UV systems

UX-UV dual-use tube sockets are UX series such as 300B, 2A3, and 45.output tubeIn addition to this, this is a special dual-purpose socket that also supports UV vacuum tubes such as WE205D, WE101D, and WE104D. In particular, it has been designed with the assumption that the WE205D and the Chinese-made 205D will be used to verify the difference in sound, allowing for comparative listening of tube types without changing the circuitry or chassis processing. With a mounting hole diameter of 30mmφ and screw spacing of 38.2mm, it is compatible with general UX layouts.


High-precision holding structure designed for replacement

In order to stably use vacuum tubes of different standards, UX type and UV type, the socket body is machined and molded from fluororesin, and a round cutting pin is fixed with high precision. This prevents rattling even when switching tube types, and suppresses poor contact and fluctuations in sound quality due to vibration. It has a structure that can withstand frequent insertion and removal, ensuring high reproducibility even for comparison listening purposes.

Sense of security thanks to the highly insulated fluororesin body

The body material is made of fluororesin (tetrafluoroethylene), which boasts the highest standards for electrical insulation and low dielectric constant. It has excellent heat resistance and maintains stable characteristics even in the output stage where high voltage is applied, making it suitable for long-term use as a core component of vacuum tube amplifiers.

Stable contact with phosphor bronze pin and gold plating treatment

The socket pin uses phosphor bronze, which has excellent strength and spring properties, and maintains stable contact pressure over a long period of time. Furthermore, by applying thick gold plating on top of the base treatment to eliminate magnetism, contact resistance is reduced, preventing the deterioration of minute signals and muddying of the sound. Both UX and UV tubes have a configuration that does not impair the purity of the sound.
