High-Quality Teflon Socket
Octal tube socket intended for use with 7C5, 7N7, C3m, C3o, and others.
Compatible Vacuum Tubes:
1LA4, 7AF7, 7C5, 7N7, 5AZ4, etc.
Mounting hole: 30mm diameter, screw spacing: 38.2mm
Once fully inserted, it locks in place.

The original tube socket is machined from fluororesin (or Complate), with pins fixed through round machining. This ensures a firm hold on the vacuum tube without any play, preventing sound degradation from vibrations. Additionally, the excellent insulation properties of fluororesin make it a key component in building tube amplifiers.

Material Description:
Fluororesin:- Official name: Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). It has the best electrical insulation and dielectric properties among all solids. It also exhibits excellent temperature resistance.

Complate:- A material made by forcibly drying wood and impregnating it with phenolic resin. It has the same electrical properties as bakelite but greater strength. High heat resistance and strength provide solid sound quality.
Phosphor Bronze:- Used as the pin material for most tube sockets (excluding the L series). It has high strength, excellent spring properties, and maintains stable contact.

Gold Plating:- Most socket pins (except those in the L series) are heavily gold-plated over a non-magnetic base to minimize magnetic materials.
