This is a socket for 316A, 388A of Western Electric and similar. Please use with good heat dissipation.

The original tube socket is made by machining fluororesin and fixing the pins through round cutting processing. This provides a firm hold on the vacuum tube without any play, preventing sound quality deterioration due to vibration. In addition, the excellent insulation of fluororesin makes it a key component in building vacuum tube amplifiers.
Description of materials used
Fluororesin:Official name: polytetrafluoroethylene; it has the highest electric insulation and dielectric constant among all solids, with excellent heat resistance properties.

Phosphor bronze:Used as the material for pins in most tube sockets (except L series). It has high strength, excellent spring properties, and maintains stable contact.

Gold plating:Most socket pins are plated with a non-magnetic base material followed by thick gold plating (except L series). Efforts are made to eliminate magnetic materials as much as possible from the plating.
