High-Quality Teflon Socket
A jumbo 4P type socket used for W212 and STC4212.
Compatible Vacuum Tubes
WE212, STC4212, etc.
Mounting Hole: 105φ, Screw Spacing: 84mm × 4
This is an extra-large socket used for Western Electric 212 and similar tubes. Teflon has a high voltage resistance, ensuring safety even at high voltages.

The original tube socket is machined from fluororesin, with pins secured through round cutting, providing a stable hold. This eliminates looseness and securely holds the vacuum tube, preventing sound quality degradation due to vibration. Additionally, the excellent insulating properties of fluororesin make it a key component in building vacuum tube amplifiers.
Description of Materials Used
Fluororesin:Officially known as polytetrafluoroethylene, it has the highest electrical insulation and dielectric constant among solids. It also has excellent temperature resistance.

Phosphor Bronze:Used as the material for pins in most tube sockets (excluding the L series). It is strong, springy, and maintains stable contact.

Gold Plating:Most socket pins are coated with a non-magnetic base material followed by a thick gold plating (excluding the L series). Efforts are made to eliminate magnetic materials from the plating.
