The original tube socket is made by machining fluororesin (or Complate) and fixing the pins using round cutting, ensuring no looseness for the tube. This provides firm holding, preventing sound quality degradation due to vibrations. It also features the excellent insulation properties of fluororesin, making it a key part in vacuum tube amplifier construction.
Description of Materials Used:
Fluororesin:Official name is polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Its electrical insulation and dielectric properties are among the highest of all solids. It also has excellent temperature resistance.

Complate:A material made by forcibly drying wood and impregnating it with phenolic resin. It has electrical properties similar to Bakelite but superior strength. It also has high heat resistance and provides a solid, reliable sound due to its strength.
Phosphor Bronze:Used for pins in most tube sockets (except the L series). It has high strength, excellent spring properties, and maintains stable contact.

Gold Plating:Most socket pins are coated with a non-magnetic base and then thickly gold-plated (except the L series). Magnetic materials are minimized even in the plating.
