Yamamoto Sound Craft SUT-02is a step-up transformer designed for low impedance monaural MC cartridges. With a design that completely separates the left and right transformer units and completely eliminates vibrations, it picks up even the smallest signals, creating a more aesthetically rich sound while preserving the individuality of the cartridge.
Complete isolation of transformer and optimization for low impedance
- Completely separate structure: The step-up transformer, which is normally housed in one case, is completely separated and enclosed in two aluminum alloy machined block cases. Interference between channels is completely eliminated, increasing the purity of the sound.
- Thorough elimination of micro vibrations: The inside of the case is impregnated with high-strength epoxy resin. The transformer unit is free from minute vibrations, making it possible to pick up even the smallest signals from the MC cartridge.
