Yamamoto Sound Craft QB-100 Asada Cherry Large Cube Base

The QB-100 is a large 100mm cube-shaped speaker base that luxuriously uses Asada cherry wood from Hokkaido. Softer yet dense cherry wood (density 0.75) is carved from solid wood, providing a structure that combines strength and weight, making it safe to use with large speakers and heavy amplifiers with a load capacity of 100kg when using three units.
Simply placing it ensures a height of 10cm, reducing the effects of floor reflections, suppressing muddiness in the low range, and improving clarity. Especially with large speakers, it sharpens the contours of the low end that may otherwise become vague, positively affecting imaging and soundstage presence. In terms of sound quality, the unique rigidity and moderate resonance of Asada cherry wood deliver dense yet natural and extended sound reproduction.

If the speaker feet or bottom surface are flat, placing them directly provides high effectiveness. Recommended for vibration control of heavy speakers and amplifiers, as well as sound field improvement, it is a reliable sound tuning item.
