Original tube sockets are made by machining fluororesin (or Complit) and fixing pins through circular cutting. This ensures there is no wobble and the tube is held firmly, preventing sound quality degradation due to vibrations. The excellent insulation of fluororesin also makes it a key part in building tube amplifiers.

Description of Materials Used

Fluororesin:

Officially called polytetrafluoroethylene, it has the best electrical insulation and dielectric properties among all solids. It also has excellent temperature resistance.Complit:

A material made by forcibly drying wood, impregnating it with phenolic resin as a base. Its electrical properties match those of Bakelite, but it has superior strength. Its high heat resistance and strength provide a solid sound.Phosphor Bronze:
Used for pins in most tube sockets (except the L series). It has high strength, excellent spring properties, and maintains stable contact.

Gold Plating:Most socket pins are plated with a thick layer of gold over a non-magnetic base (except L series), minimizing magnetic materials in the plating.
