Non-magnetic silver-plated bush finish
Soft and well-groomed touch
It makes the most of the sound with a moderate weight and contact design. Stabilizer for improved sound clarity and clarity
The RS-1 is a medium-weight record stabilizer with a diameter of 84 mm, a height of 20 mm and a weight of 380 g. While many stabilizers are too heavy, it is an excellent product that supports high-precision analog playback without putting too much strain on the turntable's rotating system with a moderate weight.
Original design and materials that make the most of the sound
- Contacts on the back periphery: It is designed to contact the vinyl record only at the outer perimeter of the back. This allows the vinyl record to be not dumped too much and is characterized by good sound. The design holds down a part of about 1mm at the outer circumference of the bottom, so that the record is firmly attached to the turntable seat without overdoing it, while not damaging the disc.
- Gun metal machined, non-magnetic silver plated: The material is machined from gunmetal and has a non-magnetic silver-plated Ibushi finish. Care is taken not to affect the magnetic force of the cartridge or turntable.
Sound quality improvement effect
By introducing RS-1, the following improvements can be obtained in the playback sound.
- Increased transparency and clarity
- Reduced noise

Impressions and sound trends by music genre
"The piano has a calm feel throughout."
- In piano music, the overall tone has a calm texture, adding softness that blends in with the ear. The keyboard attack is not overemphasized, and the sound stretches and aftertastes naturally, making it less tiring to listen to for long periods of time.
"Baroque music has high frequencies and is soft to hit."
- In sound sources that require delicate high-frequency expression like the Baroque, the high frequencies of the strings and harpsichord are smoothly aligned, and the hardness that sticks to the ears is softened. The thin strings sound smoother, allowing the flow of music to feel natural.
"The orchestra is quiet and well organized."
- In a full orchestra, the background sound becomes quieter, giving the overall sound field a more organized impression. It becomes easier to discern the overlapping parts, and the sense of distance and positioning between instruments feels clearer, allowing playback without muddiness even in complex arrangements.
Audio quality benefits brought by the design philosophy
“Noise is reduced with a moderate weight, and the clarity of the sound is enhanced.”
- The well-balanced weight of approximately 380g achieves effective vibration control without placing excessive load on the turntable. By suppressing minute vibrations on the record surface, noise is reduced, and the transparency and clarity of the sound are significantly improved.
A structure that avoids over-damping preserves the beauty of resonance
“The backside contact design that doesn’t over-dampen enhances the resonance.”
- By making contact only at the outer edge of the backside, unlike stabilizers that over-dampen, it suppresses only what is necessary without compromising the natural resonance of the record. The sustain and reverberation of the sound remain lively, conveying the dynamism of the music as it is.
