Yamamoto Sound Craft The PB-24 is a set of four bases designed to receive spikes for amplifiers and speakers. They can be used individually or in combination with other spike-type bases. Made from domestic oak, one of the hardest and most durable types of wood in Japan. Oak is a resilient material also used for drumsticks and hammer handles, well-known for its strength and excellent acoustic properties.

Prevents metal resonance and delivers clear, pleasant sound

Metal bases receiving metal spikes often generate unique resonance due to metal-to-metal contact. However, with the wooden PB-24, metal spikes sink in just enough to stabilize the equipment and prevent resonant metal vibrations. This provides a clear, transparent sound that is comfortable for the ears.

Supports large and heavy equipment with ease

The PB-24 is designed with a diameter of 59mm and a height of 20mm, and the set of four can support up to approximately 100kg. It can easily hold large and heavy speakers or amplifiers, providing a stable foundation.
