Premium African ebony 59mm diameter large spike receiver base

Description

Designed for large, heavy equipment. Prevents metal-specific resonance, delivering clear and pure sound reproduction.

The PB-23 is a dedicated base for receiving spikes used in audio products with spikes. With a large size of 59mm in diameter and 20mm in height, it is ideal for large, heavy speakers and amplifiers.

Elimination of resonance through the use of wood

Typically, these pinpoint bases are made of metal, but using metal spikes on metal plates can easily produce metal-specific resonance.

  • Made of African Ebony: The PB-23 is made of wood (African ebony), which prevents its own resonance and delivers clear, pleasant sound.
  • Stability and vibration control: By using the PB-23, the metal spikes grip appropriately, stabilizing the equipment while simultaneously preventing metal resonance.

Versatility and combined use

  • High load capacity: When using four pieces, the load capacity is very high at **100kg**, making it safe for heavy equipment.
  • Combination usage: It can also be used in combination with pin-type bases such as PB-9 or PB-20. In that case, both the top and bottom surfaces become flat, making it even more user-friendly.

Review

Low-end stability and richness:

"The low end becomes solid and stable, providing a firm foundation for the sound."
Excessive resonance from metal insulators disappears, resulting in low frequencies that are both tight and full-bodied. The effect is noticeable even with small speakers.

High-end clarity and smoothness:

"High frequencies are no longer harsh, producing a smooth and easy-to-listen sound."
The high density and resonant quality of African ebony work effectively, increasing informational content while keeping the sound gentle on the ears. The difference compared to switching from metal-based insulators is particularly notable.

Improved soundstage clarity and stable imaging

"Sound images become sharply defined, and the soundstage appears clean and clear."
Unwanted resonances are suppressed, increasing the quietness of the background, making the contours of vocals and instruments more distinct. The sense of three-dimensionality naturally expands.

Stability you can trust even for heavy equipment

"Large amplifiers can be placed stably without wobbling."
A solid 59mm diameter ebony block provides sturdy support, ensuring stability even for the spikes of heavy equipment. The composed stability of this size is also reflected in the sound.

Texture that satisfies the sense of ownership

"The beautiful texture of ebony and the highly precise finish feel very pleasing."
Ebony, also used for musical instruments, has a rich, luxurious feel, elegantly securing the base for the entire system.
