High-Quality Ebony Setting Base

Description

Good resonance of musical instrument wood. A setting base that tightens the sound with pinpoint support.

The PB-20, along with the PB-21, is a setting base used for vibration control of amplifiers and speakers. The material used is African ebony, one of the hardest and strongest types of wood.


Use of rare wood also used for instruments

  • Top-Level Hardness: African ebony is extremely hard and strong, making it one of the ideal materials for a setting base.
  • Excellent Resonance: This rare material is actually used in woodwind instruments like oboes and clarinets, and is renowned for its excellent resonance.


Pin-Type Design and Vibration Control

  • Pin-Type Design: The PB-20 has a pin shape and can be placed directly under an amplifier or speaker for point support.
  • Sound Tightening: The pinpoint support effect significantly tightens the sound.
  • Elimination of Metal Resonance: It prevents the characteristic metallic resonance that often occurs with metal pinpoint bases, allowing for clear and pleasant sound reproduction.

Expandability with PB-21

The PB-20 and PB-21 (concave type) can each be used alone or combined with each other.

  • Combination Use: When combined with PB-21 and used as an upper-lower structure under an amplifier, both top and bottom surfaces become flat, allowing stable support of audio equipment with 3 or 4 points of contact.
