This product is a board-mount type tube socket designed for MT-9P standard vacuum tubes such as EL84, ECC83, 12AU7, and 12AX7. Unlike chassis-mounted sockets, it features dimensions and a structure intended for PCB mounting, making it suitable for compact amplifier designs, preamps, and driver stages. The external dimensions are 19mm in diameter × 22mm, allowing it to be incorporated into circuits where space-saving designs are required.

High retention and stability through precision machining
The socket body is made by machining fluororesin and precisely securing the round-cut pins. This reduces wobbling when the tube is installed, preventing poor contact and audio quality degradation due to vibration. Despite being designed for direct PCB mounting, it ensures reliable holding performance. A pin layout diagram is also provided, allowing peace of mind from the design stage.

High-performance body materials to suit your needs
The body is made of fluororesin (PTFE), boasting excellent electrical insulation and heat resistance, carefully selected to ensure both reliability and audio performance required for tube amplifiers.

Stable electrical contact with phosphor bronze pins and gold plating
The socket pins are made from phosphor bronze, known for their strength and springiness, maintaining stable contact pressure over long periods. Additionally, the pins are plated with a thick layer of gold on a non-magnetic base to reduce contact resistance, preventing signal loss and audio distortion. This configuration is suitable for MT-9P tubes, which are often used in low-signal stages.
