Plate-type Magnet Floating Base
Non-contact floating using magnetic repulsion. Dramatically improves the S/N ratio of relatively lightweight equipment.
The MGB-45 is a vibration-damping plate base that applies the principle of a magnet floating base directly to an audio board. It supports relatively lightweight products (1–9 kg) such as preamps, DA converters, CD players, and offers significant vibration-damping effects.

Vibration Isolation Mechanism
- Floating Principle: Neodymium magnets are placed at four points on the bottom of the ASADA cherry laminated wood, known for its beautiful resonance. Combined with the sturdy African ebony base, the board floats almost non-contact thanks to magnetic repulsion.
- Vibration Isolation: Unlike ordinary boards, it eliminates not only floor vibrations but also resonance from the audio equipment itself and reflected vibrations within the chassis. This absorbs the impact of micro-vibrations on circuits, making it ideal for vibration-sensitive devices such as preamps and DA converters.
Recommended Usage
"Using with pinpoint bases makes the sound even more robust and vivid."
When placing an amplifier on the board, using a pinpoint base like PB-20 between the amplifier and the board improves sound quality, making the sound robust and vivid.

Dramatic Improvement in Soundstage and Clarity
"Enhances S/N ratio for clear reproduction."
Elimination of vibration noise improves the S/N ratio, creating a quieter soundstage and better spatial clarity. Focus becomes sharper and clearer, increasing information such as instrument positioning and resolution. Instruments' positions and depth become distinct, enhancing overall presence.
"Tone is soft, clear, and more transparent."
Unwanted low-mid frequencies are absorbed, balancing the response, resulting in a soft, clear tone with increased transparency. Detail reproduction becomes more distinct.

Compatibility and installation effects with compact equipment
When combined with a compact CD player or pre-main amplifier, it is very easy to handle, and the improvement in signal-to-noise ratio can be clearly felt immediately after installation. Even placing a power box on it has more effect than expected, not only quieting the background but also making each detail of the sound stand out more vividly.
Increase in sound expression and information
Previously hidden subtle sounds naturally emerge, and the nuances of piano touches or a cappella singing feel richer. The sound gains more expression, giving the music a sense of density overall.
Texture and attack in orchestral music
With a full orchestra, the texture of the attack becomes more vivid, and the force of the performance is conveyed more realistically. Instrument separation and layering improve, making their presence in the soundstage more distinct.
Broad sound quality improvement effects
Effective for a wide range of equipment, from small devices to power systems, this board allows you to feel improvements in sound quality from multiple angles. The results often exceed expectations, and the changes after installation bring great satisfaction.
