Yamamoto Sound Craft AL-2 Tone arm lifter unit for turntable

Yamamoto Sound Craft AL-2is a convenient retrofit arm lifter unit designed for players who have a tonearm that does not come with an arm lifter or whose lifter is malfunctioning. This prevents problems such as scratches on records and broken record needles, and provides reliable safety and comfortable operability during analog playback.

Adoption of large hydraulic cylinder and ebony sleeve

• Large hydraulic cylinder: Adopts a large hydraulic cylinder with a diameter of 16mm. By operating the large lever, you can smoothly raise and lower the arm. Especially when lowering the arm, it comes down slowly and surely using hydraulic pressure, protecting the delicate record stylus.
• Ebony sleeve: The mounting sleeve is made of African ebony, which has excellent acoustic properties. It gives the product a high-class feel while taking vibration countermeasures into consideration.

About installation and height adjustment

This unit can be installed separately, so it can be combined with most players.

• Installation position: Install so that the operating range of the lifter covers the top of the record when the stylus tip is at the innermost position.
• Height adjustment: Use the included hex wrench to adjust the height adjustment screw. With the lift lever raised, adjust the stylus so that it is 5mm to 10mm above the record.

Installation notes:

• The height adjustment screws do not need to be tightened too tightly. The main body sleeve is made of ebony, so tightening it too tightly may cause damage.
• Secure using the included tapping screws, bolts, or double-sided tape.

The height of this machine can be adjusted from 39mm to 53mm from the player board at the bottom of the arm pipe. Please check the arm height of your player before purchasing.
