Yamamoto Sound Craft A-08S "45" single stereo amplifier used

Although the A-08S is small, it boasts a sound quality comparable to the finest 300B amplifier. Designed to bring out the best sound quality in combination with high-efficiency speakers. The circuit configuration consists of a Western Electric 717A driver tube and a 45 vacuum tube output stage.

The chassis is made by penetrating phenolic resin with high insulation on a single plate of cherry blossom material. While the appearance is wood, it has excellent insulation and strength. High sound quality is achieved by preventing the influence of eddy current and suppressing resonance.

Vacuum tube sockets are made of high-quality fluoropolymer and phosphorus bronze socket pins.

The input terminal uses an external conductor with chrome copper shaving and a high-grade Teflon insulating pin jack with phosphorus bronze shaving pins. The output terminal is a large terminal with pure copper shaving and gold plating. It also supports 8 mm diameter speaker cable. The speaker terminal is exclusive for 8Ω, but 4Ω and 16Ω are also available, but if the maximum output is 8W, it will be reduced to about 4-6W.

In the legs, African ebony known for its beautiful sound is sharpened and adopted. In order to ensure strength and good resonance, it is fixed directly to the chassis made of Comprit and firmly supports the overall weight.
