The most natural straight-type horn
The SS-500 is a horn that retains the goodness of a circular straight horn while combining the expansion of a square radial horn, the sound field, and ease of use. The SS-500 is made of extremely thick laminated wood blocks with a thickness of 100 mm, which are carved into a three-dimensional curved surface to make horns.
Sufficient frequency response down to low frequencies near the cutoff
The crossover frequency of the SS-500 is as low as 800 Hz against the 500 Hz cutoff.
The directionality is 70 degrees horizontally and 30 degrees vertically, and the shape and design expand quite naturally.
The gun metal cast throat adapter has a setting base on both sides of the horn when in use, and the contact surface is limited to three points as a three-point support, and the weight of the driver and horn is concentrated at that point to suppress vibration and greatly reduce disturbance and interference in the mid and low frequencies.
It is compatible with both Altic and JBL mounting screws.
Both SS-500s have a structure that can be incorporated into an enclosure, and can be incorporated by drilling pilot holes in the mounting flange and attaching them with wood screws.
