Description

Simple circuitry, careful power supply circuit, and independent LR configuration of the DAC device

The output side of the DA converter IC is a current output. The DA converter IC used in this unit, PCM1794A, is also the current output of the operating circuit. Based on the conclusion that the simpler the circuit and the fewer elements it passes, the better the sound quality, the circuit adopted was a single-transistor base-grounded, non-feedback single output circuit. It is a very simple configuration in which only one transistor and one resistor are used to convert the current output into a voltage, and it also serves as an output circuit. This circuit made the sound quality very natural, and the sound was fresh and full of dynamism.
Two PCM1794A in mono mode are used in the DA converter IC for the best performance
The DA converter IC uses a high-performance PCM1794A in mono mode with one L/R channel each, resulting in a powerful and energetic sound with no interference between channels due to paraconnection.

Supplied from a separate regulator circuit eliminates interference with the circuit by the power supply
A large-capacity toroidal transformer is used for the power transformer, and the analog and digital windings are independent to suppress mutual interference. The transformer is a careful power supply circuit that supplies the digital part, the analog part, and the output circuit independently from a separate regulator. The wiring material is Teflon-insulated and silver-plated copper wire, which is extremely reliable and has excellent sound quality.

Review
I would like to draw attention to the simple circuit configuration of a single transistor, the careful design of operating in mono mode with one L/R each, and the elaborate power supply circuit in which a large-capacity toroidal transformer is mounted on the power supply, the windings are divided into digital, analog, and output, and the power supply of the IC is supplied from a separate regulator.
In this way, the YDA-01, which focuses on simplicity and enhanced power supply, has a refreshing and smooth tone, and a rich and clear sound. The range is wide enough, and the energy is uniform and smooth in all bands. The texture and reverberation of the boy soprano's voice are delicately depicted, and this is probably a characteristic of the sound quality. However, he is not only delicate, but also powerful, and in jazz, he plays a wutto bass and drums with a solid response. However, even in such cases, it is never rough, and it seems that the essence of this machine is that it has a quiet atmosphere based on fine resolution. So it's no surprise that the nuances of the guitar are so striking and precise. The tone of the strings is neutral and unexaggerated, and the quiet but subtle changes in timbre are captured effortlessly. And there is an extraordinarily rich aftertaste that spreads around it. As a result, the sound does not bleed, but the character seems to be evident from the way this lingering sound appears. In the orchestra, the soft touch of the strings and the moist sound give a sense of grain and calmness. And the sauce is sharp and vividly colored. Or Fazil Sai's piano, which responds sharply to fast-moving touches, and each note is very clear. It is clear that the sense of reality of the sound image and the spatiality on the stage enhance the realistic feel. The beauty of the chorus, the thickness of the sound, and the presence of the chorus that is rich in flesh but does not blur and has a tight focus are also well reflected in the accurate reproducibility. This gives the music itself a rawness that draws the listener in.
