Description
Simple circuitry and careful power supply circuitry, DAC devices are LR independent
The output side of the DA converter IC is a current output. The PCM1794A, the DA converter IC used in this unit, also has a current output for the operating circuit. Based on the conclusion that the simpler the circuit and the fewer the number of elements that pass through it, the better the sound quality, the circuit adopted was a base-grounded, no-feedback single output circuit using a single transistor. This is a very simple configuration. This circuitry makes the sound quality very natural, and the sound is crisp and full of vitality.
Two PCM1794A DA converter ICs are used in mono mode to achieve the best performance.
By using two high-performance PCM1794A DA converter ICs, one for each L/R channel in mono mode, a powerful and energetic sound is obtained with no interference between channels.
Supplied from separate regulator circuits to eliminate interference to the circuitry by the power supply.
A large-capacity toroidal transformer is used for the power supply transformer, with independent windings for analog and digital circuits to minimize interference between them. The transformer is carefully designed to supply power from separate regulators for the digital, analog, and output circuits. For wiring materials, Teflon-insulated, silver-plated copper wires are used, which are extremely reliable and offer excellent sound quality.

Review
The simple circuit configuration with a single transistor, the careful design of operating in monaural mode with one L/R transistor each, the large-capacity toroidal transformer in the power supply, the separate windings for digital, analog, and output, and the careful power supply circuit that supplies power to the IC from separate regulators are all noteworthy. The YDA-01, which is the result of simplification and power supply reinforcement, has a clean, extended tone with a rich, clear resonance. The range is wide enough, and the energy is even across all bands with a smooth response. The textures and reverberations of the boy soprano's voice are delicately rendered, and this is perhaps the most distinctive feature of the sound quality. However, it is not only delicate but also powerful and strong, and in jazz, it can make the wet bass and drums sound very responsive. However, even in such cases, the sound is never rough, and the quiet atmosphere based on detailed resolving power is the essence of this unit. It is no surprise, then, that the nuances of the guitar are heard with remarkable precision. The tone of the strings is neutral and without exaggeration, and the quiet but subtle changes in timbre are captured without strain. The reverberations that spread out around the strings are exceptionally rich. The sound is not blurred by this, but the way the reverberations appear may give a glimpse of the character of the instrument. In the orchestra, the strings have a soft and rich sound, and the graininess is well-defined and calm. And depending on the source, the orchestra shows off its sharpness and vivid colors without regret. Fazil Sai's piano also responds crisply to the fast-moving touch, and every note is very clear. It is clear that the realism of the sound image and the spatiality on stage enhance the realistic feel of the music. The beauty and depth of the chorus and the presence of the chorus, which is rich in fleshiness but not blurred and tight in focus, are also well represented by the accurate reproduction. This gives the music itself a vividness that attracts the listener.
