High-quality ebony pin spikes
High-quality ebony setting base
The setting bases PB-20 and PB-21 can be used individually or in combination for amplifiers and speakers. They are made from African ebony, one of the hardest and strongest materials among all woods. This material has become rare, but it is actually used in instruments like oboes and clarinets, known for its excellent resonance.
PB-20 has a pin shape that can be placed directly under amplifiers or speakers for point support. When combined with PB-21 to create a stacked structure, it provides a flat surface on both the top and bottom, supporting audio equipment with good stability through three or four-point support.
The pinpoint support effect significantly tightens the sound.
Typically, these pinpoint bases often use metal, but metal spikes can produce resonance sounds unique to metal. By combining with hard woods like PB-21, these resonance sounds can be prevented, resulting in a clear and pleasant playback sound.
