Plate type magnet floating base

Description

MGB-45 is a vibration suppression plate base that applies the principle of magnetic floating base directly to audio boards. It can be used for many products such as amplifiers, CD players, analog players, etc., to achieve a great vibration control effect.

The MGB-45 is an audio board with neodymium magnets placed at four locations on the bottom of a beautifully resonating laminated Asada cherry wood and combined with a strong African ebony wood base to float the board itself by the repulsive action of magnetic force.

The MGB-45 isMGB-2and is suitable for relatively light products weighing from 1kg to 9kg. It is mainly intended for preamplifiers, DA converters, CD players, etc. When installing amplifiers on the board, it is recommended that the board be placed between the amplifier and the board.PB-4-2or other pinpoint base between the board and the amplifier will improve the sound quality and make the sound thicker and more vivid.

Improved signal-to-noise ratio for clearer reproduction

Compared to general audio boards that dampen vibrations, the magnetic floating base floats the audio equipment almost contact-free, preventing vibrations from the floor from being transmitted. This eliminates not only external vibrations, but also the resonance of the audio equipment itself and vibrations reflected off the chassis. The elimination of noise improves the signal-to-noise ratio, making the soundstage quieter and the spatial perspective better, and improves the sense of localization and resolution with richer information. Bass is deep and powerful, and high frequencies are sharp and extended.
In particular, unnecessary swelling in the mid and low frequencies is absorbed, the response balance is evened out, the tone is soft and muddy, transparency is increased, and detail is clarified.
The effect of microvibrations on the circuitry is absorbed, so focus is tightened and clarified, and the position and depth of instruments become clearer, increasing the overall presence of the instrument.

Review
This is a good choice for compact CD players and pre-main amplifiers, but it is also effective with power supply boxes and the like. It works surprisingly well, not only improving SN and quieting the background, but also clarifying the detail of each and every note. Sounds that were not previously audible become audible, and this is especially noticeable on piano and a cappella. The impression is that more expression is added, and the music becomes more dense. Even in orchestral music, the rise of the sound is more vivid, and the sound quality is improved more than expected. The wide-ranging effects of this board can be demonstrated from various angles.
