Titanium alloy bolts improve sound quality

Improved sound quality with light weight and high rigidity

Description
The material is titanium alloy, which is light and strong, and has the effect of improving sound quality when used when stopping the cartridge. Since the cartridge picks up the unevenness of the vinyl record as a music signal and plays it back, the effect of the vibration is significant. Of course, the impact on the sound quality of the headshell is significant, but the screws that secure the cartridge also greatly affect the sound. It seems that materials with soft materials have a softer sound, and harder materials have a harder sound. Titanium alloy has a specific gravity of 4.5, which is about half that of brass, etc., and its strength is as hard as steel, and it is also used for horn driver diaphragms in the acoustic field, so it can be said that its merit in terms of sound quality is great. In general, it is said that the speed of sound (speed of sound) transmitted to a material is faster for lighter and stronger materials. These conditions prove that titanium alloys are excellent as set screws for cartridges.
A brass gold-plated nut is supplied as a fixing nut, but this nut is custom-made and adopted in a type with a small external dimension. Therefore, even if it is used on the cartridge side, it fits comfortably into the mounting part of most cartridges. The nut is M2.6 and the opposite side is 4.0mm.
