High-performance cherry wood rack made in Japan

Description

This high quality audio rack is made of 30mm thick cherry plywood for shelves and 32mm thick solid Asada cherry wood for posts. The rack is assembled with 8 screws per shelf, and the load is supported by the screws when the equipment is light, and by the grooves in the posts when the equipment is heavy, thus providing a high load capacity. The same urethane coating as that used on high-end furniture is applied to the finish, so it will not deteriorate over a long period of use.

The sides and rear of the shelves are not partitioned, allowing for sufficient heat dissipation. Spike pins (sold separately) are recommended for carpeted rooms. Casters are also available.

Review
This rack gives the impression of increasing the woodiness of the reproduced sound of wood instruments. The stem board is made of cherry plywood, and the posts are made of solid asada cherry wood, which gives the rack not only sufficient strength but also adequate resonance. As a result, the volume of the wood bass increased. The contours and resonance of the bass were a little less harsh, and while the bass frequencies that were firmly controlled in the reference were also good, there was an impression that the "wood" character of the wood bass was increased. The graininess and resonance of the cymbals also increase in density. On the other hand, the edge of the guitar is a bit weaker, and the sound is a bit muted for a rock. However, this can be adjusted by combining other accessories, and if you do it well, you may be able to get a full mid-low range and edgy high range.
