Description
Solid AuGrain Pipe Shield Digital Cable XLR Special Edition is a two-core coaxial digital cable made with an ideal balance of AuGrain, an alloy of gold and silver, and AuGrain+Pt, the world's first advanced material triple-blended with high-purity platinum, gold and silver.
PTFE, which has the most excellent properties among Teflon, is used for the insulation material, which has a great impact on sound quality, and PTFE Teflon is also used for the outer jacket.
A coaxial pipe shield structure is used, and an augmented alloy is also used for the shield pipe. Compared to ordinary braided wire shields and foil shields, this shield has surprisingly high quietness and dynamic range.
An extra shield made of braided wire is applied outside the pipe shield, and to prevent the extra shield from adversely affecting the sound quality, a newly developed special capacitor is connected between the cold and the cold of both terminals.
The "pipe shield" structure has been said to be an ideal shield for a long time, but it has not been put into practical use for a long time because it is difficult to handle with ordinary conductors, and also because it breaks easily when repeatedly bent. This product has been put to practical use by taking advantage of the flexibility of "ORG Alloy".
The balanced plug used in this cable is made of the same silver alloy as the wire material and manufactured by Deltron in the UK.
A special electromagnetic wave sheet is further attached on top of the normal shield to achieve a higher signal-to-noise ratio.
