A monophonic power amplifier that achieves high-precision reproduction
Achieves overwhelming sound quality despite its compact and lightweight design, using high-end parts and the latest technology.
The CAP-1001M is a high-performance power amplifier that converts the stereo output CAP-1001 into a monophonic version.
The CAP series was developed with the aim of being compact, lightweight, and easy to use, making it especially suitable for enjoying audio comfortably in small rooms. However, due to many requests from users seeking a more authentic audio experience, the CAP-1001M was created by converting the CAP-1001 to monophonic specifications and upgrading its components and circuitry to high-end quality.

In the CAP-1001M, premium gold-plated parts are used for the RCA input and speaker output terminals, and the speaker terminals are compatible with banana plugs. While the original CAP-1001 had a small gain controller that also functioned as the power switch, the CAP-1001M uses a conductive plastic potentiometer from Tokyo Ko-on. Additionally, the gain control knob has been replaced with a large bakelite knob, and by using two in parallel, the resistance is lowered, allowing for reproduction over a wider frequency range.

The circuit employs the latest 2nd-generation HBK(I) amplifier circuit, and a newly developed high-precision bias circuit ensures detailed and highly accurate sound reproduction. The maximum output is 13W (10% distortion), and the distortion-free maximum output is 11W (1% distortion). The distortion rate at 1W is 0.024% at 20Hz, 0.023% at 1kHz, 0.061% at 20kHz, and 0.076% at 50kHz, which is remarkably low for a non-feedback amplifier. The damping factor (DF) remains stable regardless of output: 0.1W: 13.1, 1W: 13.3, 10W: 13.3. Unlike typical negative-feedback amplifiers, which vary by output and frequency, affecting DF, the CAP-1001M uses no negative feedback, eliminating issues like TIM distortion, and allowing high-precision reproduction for any audio source.

CAP-1001M is monaural, so two units are required for stereo playback. There are also two types of models: a model that supports voltage signal input and a SATRI-LINK model that supports current signal transmission, and you can choose from the options at the time of purchase.

The CAP series does not have a model equipped with SATRI-LINK output, so if you wish to make a SATRI-LINK connection, please use an adapter that converts voltage signals to current signals.STX-1001Please use ``. By using SATRI-LINK, more precise reproduction with a larger amount of information than voltage signals is possible.
Since the CAP-1001M has an independent left and right monaural configuration, there is no crosstalk between channels, dramatically improving the width of the sound field and accurate localization of the sound image, achieving perfect channel separation. Its driving force is extremely powerful, and I was able to feel that it had excellent braking power that firmly gripped and completely controlled even large woofers and speakers that were difficult to drive. In addition, it supports both current (SATRI-LINK) input and voltage (XLR/RCA) input, giving users a high level of flexibility in system construction.
