5th generation HBK(I) circuit takes record playback to a new dimension
Balances the convenience of dual inputs with ultimate silence
EQA−8610UHa,Bakoon ProductsA further evolution of the original SATRI circuit**5th generation HBK(I) (Hibiki) circuitEquipped with ``**. In addition to amazing low noise performance, this phono equalizer amplifier is highly flexible to match the user's system configuration.
Revolutionary technology: bufferless direct amplification
- Dramatic evolution of MM mode: Conventional SATRI circuits required a "buffer circuit" to convert voltage signals (MM) into current signals, but the HBK(I) circuit installed in this machine can directly accept voltage signals. Noise and distortion caused by buffers have been eliminated, achieving an overwhelming specification of -162dB of input equivalent noise.
- MC mode:Ultimate low noise with current input: MC cartridge operates as a current input. The energy generated by the cartridge is amplified without loss without passing through a head amplifier or step-up transformer. When mounted with Koetsu Onyx, it achieves an amazingly low noise of -150dB.
Detailed settings to meet user preferences
The selector knob on the front panel allows for detailed customization to match the characteristics of your system and cartridge.
- 4-level gain switching: Can be set to 0dB / −10dB / −20dB / −30dB. You can get the optimal volume without distortion according to the output voltage of the cartridge.
- Bias current adjustment: 4 stages of 2mA/1mA/0.5mA/0.25mA. By increasing or decreasing the bias current, you can fine-tune the delicacy and thickness of the sound, allowing you to enjoy creating sounds that match the playback environment.
- MM/MC independent input: Equipped with two RCA inputs, which can be switched with a single switch.
2 inputs that can be used depending on the system
The unit is equipped with two RCA input terminals (RCA1/RCA2) on the back, and a single selector switch on the front panel allows you to switch between the used terminals and the operating mode at the same time.
- Free connection layout:If you are using two different tonearms, you can connect them to RCA1 and RCA2 respectively, and use the front switch to "switch arms" and "select MM/MC mode for each cartridge" in one action.
- Smooth Listening: Without the hassle of changing cartridges or replacing cables, you can instantly switch between multiple playback environments with the best settings.
Battery-powered and noiseless
This machine isoutletIn order to completely cut off the contamination of hum noise from the mobile battery (DC-5V/500mA), it is recommended to use a mobile battery (DC-5V/500mA).
- Portability and sound quality at the same time: By connecting the power bank to the DC jack (2.1mm) on the back, you can achieve a jet-black background and a clear localization feeling that is not affected by external noise.
- LED Indicator: The LED on the front lights up when powered to provide at-a-glance indication of operating status.
