Even more reality in sound!!
VR goggles headphone amplifier
VHA-5240A is a headphone amplifier developed for VR goggles that can now easily enjoy 3D video.
By increasing the amount of auditory information in the world of virtual reality (VR) and increasing the accuracy, VR viewing can be more realistic. Precise, precise, and timeless playback of the surround sound used. A clear reproduction of the sense of direction and distance, such as flat phase characteristics that emphasize the localization of binaural recordings used in VR, adds a greater sense of reality to the virtual reality world.
Depending on the model of VR goggles, there are goggles with earphone output in stereo and goggles that come out in mono separately on the left and right, so in addition to stereo I/O to be able to correspond to each, there is a mono input/output of left and right. To prevent induction noise, we adopt a case using conductive carbon-mixed filament.
You can also enjoy it as a headphone amplifier that can be easily carried in a bag or pocket by utilizing small and lightweight.
From the virtual world to the real world
The built-in amplifier in VR goggles loads the use of earphones. The higher the load, the greater the distortion, the worse the transient characteristics, and the worse the delay time. By precisely controlling the bias current, VHA-5240A maximizes the amount of information and increases the accuracy. Furthermore, by expanding the bandwidth to a no-return circuit without negative feedback, by eliminating transient distortion such as TIM distortion and minimizing time delay to the limit, phase distortion can be eliminated and surround localization can be accurately expressed. By connecting the VHA-5240A to the goggles' earphone output, the load of the earphone is reduced from 1/100 to 1/300, preventing deterioration of the characteristics. It takes out a pure signal without deterioration of characteristics and drives the earphone with a precise driver circuit. This makes it possible to accurately reproduce the required phase and time information in VR and realistically reproduce the world view of virtual reality.
