Q-TRON Audio products are scheduled for a price revision (approximately 20–25% increase) from September 10.
The current prices were set based on “1 Euro = about 150 yen,” but due to the recent yen depreciation to around 185 yen, prices will be revised.
Orders placed by 18:00 on Wednesday, September 9, will be accepted at current prices for one unit per model. Once the specified number of units is reached, orders will be closed even before the deadline. These are made-to-order products, and the delivery time is around 55 days.
Extremely transparent analog playback realized with OTL
High-end phono stage achieving both precise RIAA curve and silence
The RIAA14B is designed as a phono equalizer that plays the most critical role in analog record playback, with an all-tube OTL configuration thoroughly implemented to maintain signal purity to the utmost extent.
This rare phono preamp uses no semiconductors, transformers, or chokes in the audio chain, consisting of 100% tubes from input to output.
The accuracy of the RIAA curve is kept within ±0.2dB, achieving both precise equalization and natural tone. It is designed exclusively for MM cartridges, providing very high quality, making it ideal for users seeking highly transparent analog playback.
The phono input has two RCA terminals, and the cartridge load can be set individually for each input. Outputs include RCA and balanced XLR, allowing flexible compatibility with various systems.

“Colorless” analog playback created by full OTL configuration
The greatest feature of the RIAA14B is that, despite its all-tube + OTL configuration, it achieves high S/N ratio, low distortion, and excellent linearity.
The OTL design completely eliminates magnetic distortion and bandwidth limitations caused by transformers, amplifying the input analog signal in its original form.
Noise is kept below -80dBA based on a 5mV input, ensuring an extremely quiet background, characteristic of analogholographic soundstageThe reproduction of both high and low tones stands out. The overload margin is also high, exceeding 30 dB, allowing for ample playback without distortion even in dynamic music.
Highly stabilized power supply circuits and a 10mm thick aluminum chassis support 'silence.'
The RIAA14B thoroughly implements noise countermeasures, which are most important in analog playback, and uses a specially designed highly stabilized power supply for the anode and heater.
This suppresses hum and power supply-derived fluctuations to an extremely low level, maximizing the expressive power of subtle signals.
The unit is composed of three high-quality PCBs, and the 10mm thick machined aluminum chassis completely blocks external vibrations. By eliminating vibration-caused noise, the low frequencies are tightened and the transparency of the mid and high frequencies is further enhanced.

An ideal combination with the PRE14B, PA12B, PA3B, and PA34B
The RIAA14B is designed to maximize the transparency and accuracy of the entire system when paired with Q-tron's PRE14B preamplifier and PA12B/PA3B/PA34B.
Because these OTL amplifiers have extremely high resolution and low distortion, the phono equalizer is also required to have the same purity. The RIAA14B meets these requirements, conveying the charm of analog records as is, without compromising the crystal-clear sound quality of the OTL power amplifier.
Of course, even when combined with other manufacturers' systems, it performs at a very high level as a transparent, color-free RIAA equalizer.
Accurate RIAA characteristics and quiet, extended expressiveness
The RIAA14B keeps the accuracy of the RIAA curve within ±0.2 dB, accurately reproducing the recording characteristics of records. Its low noise floor and high overload margin allow listeners to naturally enjoy a wide range of musical genres, from delicate classical music to energetic jazz.
The soundstage is wide and transparent, harmonics are pristine and extended, and the unique texture of analog signals emerges naturally.
The RIAA14B is a vacuum-tube OTL phono stage born for listeners who want to purely enjoy the appeal of analog playback.
