The Q-tron PRE12B is an all-vacuum tube OTL (Output Transformer Less) preamplifier designed to preserve the purity of the input signal to the maximum extent. The amplification stages are composed entirely of vacuum tubes, adopting a thoroughly pure structure with no semiconductors, output transformers, or chokes. As a result, it delivers a sound rich in information and extremely transparent, faithfully reproducing the input signal. It features four input channels, and both volume and input selection can be operated via the included remote control.
64-Step High-Precision Attenuator — Volume Adjustment Without Compromising Purity
The attenuator developed exclusively by Q-tron for the PRE12B has a 64-step configuration in 1 dB increments. Each step is switched using gold-plated relays, and the channel balance is maintained within ±0.05 dB at any volume setting according to official specifications.
