The Q-tron PRE12B is an all-vacuum tube OTL (Output Transformer Less) preamp designed to maximize the purity of the input signal. The amplification stage consists of a 100% vacuum tube and is a thorough pure structure that does not use any semiconductor, output transformer or chalk. As a result, it realizes a high level of information and extremely transparent sound, and sends out the input signal as it is. With four inputs, the volume and input switching can be operated with the attached remote control.

The original Q-tron attenuator installed in the PRE12B is a 64-step configuration with 1 dB engraving. Each step is switched by a gold-plated contact relay, and the channel balance is within ± 0.05 dB at any volume position. The maximum accuracy of the numerical value is 0.02 dB. This design enables smooth, accurate volume adjustment and greatly improves the quality of the audio experience.
