Q-tron Audio PA3B 2x8W Push Pull Vacuum Tube OTL Power Amplifier

A3B is a vacuum tube OTL amplifier that achieves 10 times lower distortion than other output transformer less (OTL) amplifiers by a unique driver circuit. Each channel is equipped with two 6C41C tubes to achieve 8W output with its own driver stage. The distortion rate at the time of 0.5W is only 0.01%, and because active noise reduction is adopted, ham and noise are also very low.

The PA3B adopts a Futterman circuit, which eliminates output transformers and achieves excellent frequency characteristics and outstanding low distortion. The Futterman circuit is known for maximizing the transparency and reality of sound, especially in OTL (output transless) amplifiers, and is designed to maximize its characteristics.

Large PCB substrates are used in the design of the PA3B, except for the important parts that greatly affect sound quality, and important parts are assembled with point to point (PtP) technology.
