Overwhelming Driving Power and Transparency
A flagship OTL monoblock that fully brings out the potential of large speakers
Q-tron PA34B – An 80W OTL power amplifier that comfortably handles high-impedance loads
The PA34B is a monoblock OTL power amplifier that expands significantly on the output and current supply capabilities of Q-tron's flagship model, the PA12B. It is equipped with four 6C33C vacuum tubes in the output stage, doubling the current capacity of the PA12B, thereby providing high control even for low-efficiency speakers or large floor-standing models. Despite being a tube amplifier, it delivers ample power of 80W into 8Ω and 60W into 4Ω, making it compatible with modern speakers without concern.
By eliminating the output transformer through OTL (Output Transformer Less) design, it completely avoids distortions and bandwidth limitations caused by the magnetic characteristics of transformers, enabling extremely fast attack and direct, highly transparent playback. The amplifier uses a push-pull configuration optimized for modern performance based on the Futterman circuit, reducing output impedance to the range of 0.2–1.5Ω, ensuring stable driving even with demanding speaker loads.

Redesigned Futterman Circuit for Both Transparency and Control
The output stage of the PA34B employs a Q-tron tuned Futterman OTL circuit. To maintain well-balanced push-pull operation without a transformer, the amplification stage uses 6N6P-I tubes, and the first stage uses 6N2n-EB tubes, achieving both linearity and wide bandwidth.
In the micro-signal range around 2W, it operates extremely cleanly, maintaining distortion levels nearly at the limits of measurement. Even when the output reaches a practical level of around 25W, the increase in distortion remains minimal, allowing the energy to rise smoothly without losing tonal transparency or density. This linearity is preserved without relying on excessive negative feedback, thanks to the precision and stability of the circuit itself.

Active noise cancelling to increase static and stability
The PA34B is thoroughly focused on noise countermeasures. The power supply design using active noise cancelling technology manages ham and noise levels at very low values of -100dBA or less. The background is not turbid, it is in the back of the sound fieldholographic soundstageBecause it spreads naturally, the reproducibility of the classical holtone and ambience is especially highly appreciated.
Large PCB and PtP wiring, quiet and stable with 10mm thick aluminum chassis
The housing consists of a 10mm thick aluminum shaving chassis that effectively blocks fine vibrations from the outside. This robustness supports heavy low-range stability and delicate mid-to-high transparency.

Drive capability to accommodate complex speaker loads with leeway
The body is housed in a robust 275 × 330 × 400 mm enclosure and weighs 19kg per unit, ensuring stable installation. The input supports both RCA and XLR, enabling a wide range of system construction.

Overwhelming driving force and clear sound field expression unique to OTL
The sound field rises fast, the air density and depth feeling are not turbid, and the speaker's potential is maximized.
The powerful impact of high volume and the fading of small reverberations are all rendered without muddiness──
The PA34B is an OTL monoblock amplifier born for listeners who want to deeply explore the essence of music.
