A full-fledged speaker kit that carries on the philosophy of the Nature Collection

The NC9_kit is a DIY speaker kit designed based on the best-selling NC10 model of MarkAudio’s Nature Collection series. It uses domestic Japanese red pine laminated wood, finely cut by skilled woodworking artisans. Once assembled, it achieves a level of perfection that belies it being a kit, delivering a texture and sound quality equivalent to a finished product.

Japanese traditional nested joinery ensures the accuracy of a finished product

The enclosure uses Japan's traditional nested joinery technique. By combining precisely processed interlocking boards, the structure ensures high airtightness and rigidity without requiring special craftsmanship. Even when adhesive is applied and clamped, the panels are unlikely to shift, ensuring that assembly precision directly reflects in sound quality. This construction integrates the entire enclosure, naturally enhancing the warm, rich resonance characteristic of red pine while boosting low-frequency energy.

All internal parts needed for sound creation included

The NC9_kit comes not only with pre-cut wood but also with all the internal components essential for sound design. It uses British traditional damping material Bechoumen, proven in the Nature Collection series, to suppress unnecessary resonance.

Additionally, it includes two sets of the adjustable bass-reflex port STBP35, allowing you to tune the bass-reflex resonance frequency according to your setup environment.
Even the supplied parts, such as the highest-grade binding posts, are selected with sound quality in mind, making this a kit without compromise. Please note that adhesives and finishing oils may not be available for overseas shipping.

This kit is compatible with both CHR90 and CHP90 MICA units. The photo shows the CHR90 installed, but the CHP90 MICA can also be used without any problems.
CHR90 has a lightweight drive system and long stroke designWhen combined with an appropriate enclosure, this allows for a well-balanced reproduction of deep mid-low range and smooth high range. By assuming a relatively large enclosure design, rich musical playback is facilitated.

CHP90

CHP90 MICAis a full range unit that uses a newly developed mica blend cone. The lightweight drive system has an MMD of 5.0g, and combined with the 7mm long stroke design, it achieves low distortion and plenty of playback. With a resonance frequency of 44Hz and a VAS of 26 liters, it has characteristics suitable for relatively large enclosure designs, and when combined with an appropriate box,Flat and balanced playback band from approximately 40Hz to 28kHzIt is possible to obtain. Unique to mica blend cornCalm tone and high resolution achieve both natural overtone expression and stable sound field.You can enjoy music playback without getting tired even when listening for long periods of time.
