The MarkAudio NC4 is a compact desktop speaker luxuriously made from solid spruce.
Spruce has beautiful damping characteristics and is widely used for acoustic guitar tops and piano soundboards, offering a richly nuanced natural fade of sound. The edges are finished with traditional Japanese Arale joinery, creating an elegant appearance that complements your interior.
Designed to create a comfortable musical environment in your living room or on your desk, the speakers aim for a natural and sweet sound character that doesn’t fatigue the ears even after long listening sessions.

CHN40 — Rich bass and flat response beyond its small size

The installed driver is MarkAudio's CHN40. Despite being the smallest in the company’s lineup, it combines surprisingly flat characteristics with excellent low-frequency performance. The highly flexible U-shaped synthetic rubber edge, shallow cone shape, and optimally damped spider back suspension achieve a long stroke unmatched by a 40mm driver. The result is a balanced, natural frequency response and rich bass even in near-field listening.

Silky smooth resonance from straight-grain solid spruce

The spruce used in NC4 is known for its beautiful sound decay.
Using solid, straight-grain wood ensures very smooth harmonic extension and decay, faithfully conveying the nuances of instruments. It delivers a natural, soft tone that won’t stress the ears, making it perfect for rooms shared with family or as background music in a home office. This model aims to be audio that seamlessly integrates into everyday life.
An optional luxurious version combining double-dried larch and walnut is also available.
