Amazing resolution and natural sound spread
A supple, dynamic sound created by the single suspension design
A typical speaker unit has two suspension mechanisms, an edge and a damper (spider) to support the movement of the diaphragm. However, the Alpair 11MS uses a unique single suspension design, eliminating dampers. By supporting the diaphragm with only the edge, we have achieved smooth operation without unnecessary constraints and overwhelming resolution.
This design makes the vibration plate more flexible and even the fine nuances of the sound are faithfully reproduced. Because there is no loss from the damper, the sound rises quickly, creating a natural sound and spreading sound. On the other hand, the voice coil and frame are designed with a high rigidity, ensuring stability at the time of amplitude. This improves controllability during large input, which is considered a problem with single suspension, and achieves reproduction without breakdowns.
Furthermore, the Alpair 11MS uses a long stroke design of Xmax 8mm. Even when used in a normal home, it can reproduce rich, deep bass while suppressing unnecessary over-amplitude in the low frequencies.
The ultimate full-range unit that allows you to fully enjoy the openness and delicate expressiveness that only a single suspension can offer. This is the perfect choice for audio files that require serious music playback.
