Industry's highest-performance DAC chip
The AP80 Pro-X uses dual ESS9219C DAC chips with unprecedented dynamic range and ultra-low distortion. +130dB SNR, +121dB DNR, -114dB THD+N, 32-bit 384kHz PCM, analog gain control supports up to 2.0Vrms output to reduce output noise at actual listening levels. All this is done to ensure unbeatable sound quality.
MQA (Master Quality Certification)
The HiDizs AP80 Pro-X includes MQA technology, which can play MQA audio files and streams to provide the sound of the original master recording.
"MQA" or "MQA Studio" indicates that the product is decoding and playing an MQA stream or file, and indicates the source of the assurance that the sound is identical to the sound of the source material. "MQA Studio" indicates that you are playing an MQA Studio file that has been approved by the studio by the artist/producer or confirmed by the copyright owner.
MQA 8X MQA audio technology
MQA is an award-winning British technology that delivers the sound of original master recordings. The master MQA file is fully authenticated and small enough to be streamed or downloaded.
The Hidizs AP80 Pro-X portable music player uses MQA technology for the final decompression (8X) of MQA files.
Superior FPGA chips for superior audio performance
AP80 Pro-X has a built-in FPGA chip HBC3000, supports native DSD64/128/256, enhances the accuracy of digital music playback with a master clock, and can fully control clock jitter. Decoding - data processing - audio output, all details are processed perfectly.
What makes the flagship AP80 Pro-X stand out from the rest?
- Small size, covering both unbalanced and balanced outputs. The AP80 Pro-X is a pocket-sized music player (DAP). It's about the size of a credit card, but it has both a 3.5mm single-ended terminal and a 2.5mm balanced terminal in a compact body. With its portable size and unparalleled audio performance, you'll never want to let go of it.
X-shaped design showing geometric aesthetics
Aluminum integrated body with 5-axis CNC technology. The right side of the AP80 Pro-X is accentuated by an X-shaped design with an angular diamond surface and a hexagonal ice crystal-like shape embedded with Japan ALPS volume wheels. The combination of these parts gives you a real visual pleasure no matter how you look at it.
Support for various lossless transmission protocols
The AP80 Pro-X supports bidirectional Bluetooth 4.2, HiBy UAT, Sony LDAC, and CSR APT-X. It is a Bluetooth audio source and also works as a professional Bluetooth DAC AMP.
* HiBy UAT is a Bluetooth audio codec that supports an industry-leading 192kHz sample rate.
* Sony LDAC supports up to 96kHz.
Make it the most practical audio device in your daily life
The Hidizs AP80 Pro-X becomes a Digital Audio Player (DAP) when connected to a DAC AMP for clearer and cleaner audio output quality, but it can also act as a powerful external DAC AMP that greatly improves the original audio quality when connected to a mobile phone. Or a personal computer. Supported systems: MAC OS×10.7, iPad OS, Windows XP, Windows 7/8/10 and later systems.
Get an extraordinary touchscreen experience
The Samsung 2.45-inch (480×360) IPS HD touchscreen provides clearer image quality, faster response times, richer visual details, and a more comfortable viewing experience.
Powerful pedometer & ebook features
Step Counter: A high-precision pedometer sensor records your outdoor workouts with optimal accuracy.
E-book: An e-book and a photo of yourself huddled in a corner listening to music to accompany it. This is what it means to "nourish the soul."
Hi-Res Audio & Hi-Res Audio Wireless Certified
Hi-Res Audio (HRA) is a standard for high-quality audio products formulated by JAS and CEA that is now recognized and supported by audiophiles around the world, not just on premium devices.
Hi-Res Audio Wireless (HRAW) is a subset of Hi-Res Audio (HRA) for wireless audio products that support certified Bluetooth codecs. HRAW requires a certified device that can handle digital resolutions in excess of 24-bit/96kHz.
