MITCHAKU's lightest head shell was born!
The same rigidity as an arm with an integrated headshell
The new MITCHAKU-KKC headshell is a further weight reduction from the existing lightweight MITCHAKU-K. The inner surface of the headshell has been machined to the limit, resulting in a weight reduction of 2g compared to the MITCHAKU-K. This weight reduction allows it to be used with a wide range of cartridges. This weight reduction makes it possible to use a wide range of cartridges. The lead wires have also been upgraded to high-grade specifications for higher sound quality.
The Mitcheaku headshell has a seesaw structure with horizontal pins placed between the upper and lower pins, allowing for an even connection to the tone arm without any gaps. This design provides the same high rigidity as an integrated headshell without the use of rubber rings. Accurate horizontal alignment improves separation, resulting in a spacious sound field and clear sound quality.
Errors are absorbed here because of the seesaw structure. This ensures that the ring portion of the headshell and the ring portion of the arm are perfectly aligned.
In addition to the standard model MITCHAKU, three types are available: the MITCHAKU-K, which is lightweight and compatible with high-compliance cartridges by shaving the inside of the shell body, and the MITCHAKU-L, which is lighter and longer for those who are concerned about the head protruding from the cartridge to which it is attached.
