The world's first head shell that closely integrates with the tone arm.
Audio Accessory Award 2019 Special Award
Fidelix MITCHAKU (close contact) head shellwas developed with the aim of eliminating gaps in the connection with the tone arm.World's first innovative structureIt is a head shell with. With conventional headshell connections, even gaps as small as 1 micron can affect the acoustics, and when filled with rubber rings, they become elastic and join together, resulting in poor sound quality.

In order to fundamentally solve this problem, the MITCHAKU head shell adopts a **"seesaw structure"**.
- Seesaw structure: The horizontal pin placed between the top and bottom pins is pulled in with equal force by the top and bottom pins, making it possible to connect the tonearm completely tightly with no gaps.
- Gaining stiffness: This close contact structure allows us to obtain the same rigidity as an integrated head shell arm, resulting in solid sound quality, improved separation, and reproduction of a wide sound field.

Adoption of ceramic materials and resonance countermeasures
The main body material is alumina-based ceramic material, the same as ruby and sapphire. This completely eliminates unnecessary resonance,High-FidelityIt contributes to the sound.
- Design based on the teachings of Isamu Ikeda: The head shell is designed to have the minimum necessary shape based on the teaching that even with ceramic, if the horizontal part is made long, resonance is likely to occur.
- Maintaining stiffness: Resonance countermeasures have been taken in every detail, including making the finger rests thicker (2.5mm).
- Leads and contacts: The lead wire uses PCOCCA, which is annealed PCOCC, and the contact with the arm uses rhodium plating for excellent durability.

The intermediate metal fittings are made of ceramic and aluminum are MITCHAKU-A. The stainless steel intermediate fittings are MITCHAKU-S. The angled head shell for SAEC's WE-8000/ST is MITCHAKU-W (substitute for SAEC's ULS-8X). MITCHAKU-0 reverses this angle. This allows the effect of a pure straight arm to be obtained even with a bent arm, but it is suitable if the arm attachment position can be moved approximately 30mm rearward. Subtle angle differences between arms can be adjusted by adjusting the cartridge installation angle.

MITCHAKU Ceramic is a model that pursues ultimate resonance countermeasures and rigidity for the head shell by using a unique seesaw structure and ceramic material (alumina).
"Improved silence and sound with good visibility up to the ultra-high range."
Ceramic material and seesaw structure combine to create a rigid body with zero gaps,Silence in the background of the soundincreases surprisingly. According to expert evaluations, it has a clearness that metal shells do not have,Good visibility up to ultra-high frequencies, and detailed information reproduced extremely clearly. It has been pointed out that
"Excellent resonance countermeasure that does not lose the musical and natural sound."
Contrary to the hard image that ceramics have, the sound is not hard and has been praised for maintaining a natural and musical resonance. Designed based on the teachings of Isamu Ikeda, founder of FR and IKEDA, ceramic-specific**Minimize "squeal"Keep it to **,Bring out the original sound of the cartridgeIt has been extremely successful.
