Even delicate facial expressions are reproduced.

Fidelix started in 1976 with the LN-1 MC head amplifier. This was a shockingly low input-referred noise voltage of -157 dBV. The air-core MC type reproduces even delicate nuances, but since the output is low, in order to make the most of this goodness, it tends to be lacking energy unless the noise is lowered to this extent. In addition, it is battery-powered to prevent power supply noise from mixing between the head amplifier and the equalizer. This was followed by the LN-2, LZ-12MC, MCR-38, and LEGGIERO MC equipment. This time, the culmination of the MC head amplifier is this LIRICO, and the know-how gained through a long period of experience has been introduced.
The world's highest level of ultra-low noise of -156 dBV (RIAA+IHF-A by Average Response), equivalent noise resistance of 6 Ω, and input-referred noise density of 0.32 nV/√Hz@1kHz are achieved under solid noise theory.
Positive-phase amplification of approximately 26 dB by GS Direct method with all JFET. Since minute signals are delicate, they must be transmitted to the amplifying element as quickly as possible. This GS Direct method communicates directly to the gate and source without the intervention of coupling capacitors or resistors. The FET used is a valuable Toshiba ultra-low noise product (discontinued variety) that has a reputation for both performance and sound quality. In order to eliminate noise, gain, and the left-right difference in the minimum operating voltage, the devices are rigorously selected.
The input impedance is a gigaohm (GΩ) receiver that is very popular with MCR-38 and LEGGIERO, but the general 330Ω can also be selected by turning on DIP switches No. 1 and No. 3 on the bottom, depending on the compatibility and preference with the device. The No. 2 switch is connected to the left and right grounds, and it is turned off unless there is a problem.
It uses six nickel-metal hydride 006P type rechargeable batteries and has one charger, but during operation, it has a unique configuration in which even the left and right grounds are completely independent due to the diode. In addition, the charger uses a double-cut switch to completely shut out noise from the power supply line during operation. It can be used for about 20 hours on a full charge.
The main parts such as JFET, PRP resistors, PPS capacitors, and chassis are non-magnetic.
This head amplifier does not have Barkhausen noise caused by magnetic materials. As a result, even delicate facial expressions can be reproduced, and at the same time, a vast sense of realism can be obtained. MC transformers tend to suppress indirect sounds, which can sometimes be effective, as if they are closer to direct sounds, but LIRICO has pursued fidelity and achieved the ideal step up for MC cartridges.
