Fidelix LEGGIERO MC/MM Phoneequalizer.

LEGGIERO is a phoneequalizer compatible with MM and MC. Legero is an Italian musical term meaning light grace. This equalizer is named for its aggressive, extruded expression and the most difficult expression for the amplifier: light and elegant.

The MC input is equipped with the V-I-V method developed by Fidelix. Voltage current conversion at the first stage and current voltage conversion at the later stage. This configuration provides extremely low input conversion noise of -156dBV and high input impedance and high DC stability of Giga Ω class simultaneously.

Based on the RIAA, LEGGIERO has an equalizer curve with the rotary switch on the left front and the rotary switch on the right 50Hz the following levels are changed to 5 levels, 2kHz or more to 5 levels, RIAA, SP, AES, NAB, FFRR, OLD RCA, COLUMBIA and 25 different curves are available. Since the two switches are RIAA at the center position, 50Hz or less can be used as 2dB steps, 2kHz or more as 1dB-step tone control

The rear panel has a MM and MC switching switch, and the bottom of the body is equipped with a dip switch for switching input impedance. When the input impedance is 1GΩ, even the iron core MC approaches the sound of the air core MC. With high input impedance, even iron core MCs can reproduce the feeling of drifting like air core MCs. All of this amplification circuit consists of Class A operation of JFET, the other parts are also resistant to non-magnetic PRP, the capacitor adopts PPS film with the highest sound quality at present, and no chemicon is used in the signal circuit. These are the results of attention to the reproduction of subtle texture. In addition, the power supply at all stages is almost constant current operation, stabilizing the power supply and preventing interference of each stage through the power supply. For this reason, both delicate and gentle expressions and clear bass with power were achieved.

The main unit and power supply are connected by a 6P DIN connector. Available in AC100V and AC120V regions.
