ESOTERIC D-2 D/A Converter.

A D/A converter released by Tiac in 1989 on the Esoteric brand. It is one unit that achieved excellent performance and functionality as a single D/A converter while assuming a pair of P-2. In order to accommodate various digital inputs, it is equipped with an auto search mechanism to realize a high accuracy wide lock range.

Digital filters employ 45-bit 8-over sampling digital filters to convert accurately calculated 45-bit tonal information to 18-bit, with a newly developed noise shaper that delivers resolution below the noise level without truncating ultrafine signals below 18-bit Enhances micro-level linearity.

The newly developed Distortion Shaper (ZD-II) adopts a high-pass dyser that achieves ultra-low distortion, improves the S/N ratio, disperses the conversion error of the D/A converter, and enhances the distortion shaping effect to achieve significant low distortion efficiency.
