Applies to electrically identical 5Z3-Mesh and 5U4G-Mesh except for sockets.The 5U4G-Mesh is used as an Octal Socket socket, only five of which are used (one of which is not electrically connected).5Z3-Mesh uses a 4-pin UX4 socket.
Note that EML tubes are slightly larger than conventional tubes.Like most NOS rectifiers, EML rectifiers are slow-start tubes that protect the entire power supply and amplifier to some extent.The delay time of the first function is 2 seconds, and the maximum current delay time is 7 seconds.
Special elements for stabilizing heater voltage are included inside the tube glass.These elements increase the resistance with higher currents and help protect the heater from accidental overvoltage.
