Luna Cables GRIS Digital expands the material philosophy of the GRIS series into S/PDIF digital transmission. While adopting the same LCNV (Luna Cable Neo Vintage) copper conductors as analog cables, it is designed with 2 cores to meet the requirements of digital transmission.

The role of digital cables is not only to accurately convey bit information but also to minimize jitter (timing fluctuations). In the GRIS Digital, Luna Cables adheres to the concept of natural materials with a cotton jacket and uses a combination with a tin-plated copper braided shield to suppress external noise and unwanted vibrations. Connectors can be chosen from three types when ordering: RCA-RCA, BNC-BNC, or RCA-BNC.

LCNV is Luna Cable's proprietary copper conductor produced using its own formulation and manufacturing method. By deliberately using vintage wire processing machines instead of cutting-edge CNC machines, we produce conductors with unique crystal structures and flexibility that modern precision machinery cannot replicate. This approach of "bringing the goodness of the old" to modern hi-fi is the core of Luna's sound.

■ Waxed Cottondielectric: Vibration control and musicality provided by natural materials

LCNV also features waxed cottondielectricIt is covered as such.dielectricThis term refers to the electrical properties of the coating material covering the conductor; the lower the material's dielectric constant, the less unnecessary interference there is on the signal waveform. Cotton soaked in wax has a lower dielectric constant compared to plastic materials, minimizing signal interference while also providing high vibration control performance. It absorbs fine noise from external vibrations, enhancing sound focus while achieving smooth and rich musical expression without feeling oppressive.

All Luna Cables cables are hand-soldered at each connection point (All connections hand-soldered). ■ Cotton Jacket: Unified from inside to outside with natural materials

The exterior features a flexible and easy-to-handle cotton jacket. It offers moderate flexibility and sound absorption that synthetic resin tubes lack, suppressing unnecessary tension and vibration transmission during installation. Luna's philosophy of thoroughly unifying materials from inside to outside using natural materials is reflected here as well.

• LCNV 24AWG Conductor × 2 pieces:Uses two 24AWG Neo Vintage copper conductors, the same as the GRIS Interconnect. With a two-core configuration compatible with the 75Ω coaxial structure required by the S/PDIF standard, it transmits digital signals stably.
• Tin-plated copper mesh shield:The tinned copper braid shield blocks external noise and high-frequency interference. It prevents waveform distortion of digital signals and enables clean transmission.
• Cotton Jacket:The flexible, easy-to-handle cotton exterior reduces installation stress and suppresses vibration transmission between devices.
• RCA-RCA / BNC-BNC / RCA-BNC Connectors (Selectable):You can choose from three combinations for both ends when ordering: RCA-RCA, BNC-BNC, or RCA-BNC. Even if the terminal standards of the CD transport and DAC are different, RCA-BNC can be used to match them. All contact points are hand-soldered by craftsmen.
