Changing the texture of music at the USB tip
The MAUVE Series USB cable is composed of four 20AWG NOS tin-plated copper conductors and individually separated signal and power lines with double shielding.
About the MAUVE Series
The MAUVE Series is Luna Cables' mid-range cable lineup, positioned above the ORANGE Series. The biggest difference from the ORANGE Series is the conductor anddielectricThese materials are used. MAUVE RCA, XLR, and Digital cables use NOS (New Old Stock) tin-plated copper conductors, which are extremely difficult to obtain nowadays.dielectricIn addition, instead of ORANGE's waxed cotton, a composite of paper, cotton, and varnish is used, achieving even higher dielectric properties and vibration damping.

The sound of the MAUVE series has richer harmonics and a more musical roundness compared to the ORANGE series. Each instrument creates a natural space, and details emerge quietly with the breath of the performance without being exaggerated. It is free from flashiness or stimulation, performing as if accompanying the music's breathing, and the information that was hidden in the recording comes through naturally. The fact that long listening sessions do not cause fatigue is because it is designed based not on spectacular effects, but on tonal accuracy and natural vitality.
Product Concept
The Luna Cables MAUVE USB inherits the same 4-wire configuration and dual-shield design with individually shielded conductors as the ORANGE USB, while the conductors anddielectricThis is a USB cable that has been upgraded to the materials of the MAUVE series. By changing from ORANGE USB's 22AWG LCNV conductors to 20AWG NOS tin-plated copper conductors, the USB path also gains the unique harmonics and musical density characteristic of NOS copper.

Signal line pairs and power line pairs are individually shielded with separate tin-plated copper braids, and an overall shield is further layered on the outside, creating a double structure that structurally solves the USB cable-specific problem of noise from the power line interfering with the signal line.dielectricIt uses a paper, cotton, and varnish composite, and all contact points are finished with hand soldering.
Luna Cables: Cables born from the hands of artisans in Montreal
Luna Cables is a handmade audio cable brand based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. All products are produced in small quantities in the workshop, and each cable is finished by the hands of artisans. The careful attention not found in mass-produced items and the dedication to materials support the musicality of Luna Cables.

■ Paper/Cotton/Varnish Compositedielectric: Low interference and vibration damping produced by the three-layer structure
In the MAUVE series, instead of the waxed cotton of the ORANGE series, a composite of paper, cotton, and varnish is useddielectricWe are employing (it) as.dielectricThis term refers to the electrical properties of the insulating material covering a conductor, and the lower the dielectric constant of the material, the less unwanted interference there is with the signal waveform. This composite, which combines varnish with natural materials such as paper and cotton, achieves both a low dielectric constant and a high vibration-damping effect, minimizing interference with the signal while bringing out rich musical expression.

■ All contact points are finished by hand soldering, uncompromising craftsmanship
All Luna Cables are hand-soldered at each connection point (All connections hand soldered). The meticulous connection quality, which cannot be achieved through mass production by machines, directly contributes to signal clarity and long-term reliability. This painstaking process is one of the reasons why Luna Cables can stand shoulder to shoulder with top audio brands.

■ Cotton Jacket: Unified with natural materials from inside to outside
For the exterior, we use a flexible, easy-to-handle cotton jacket. It provides moderate flexibility and sound absorption that synthetic resin tubes do not have, suppressing unnecessary tension and vibration propagation during installation. Luna's philosophy of thoroughly unifying materials with natural substances from the inside out is also reflected here.

Main Features
- Tin-Plated NOS Copper 20AWG (7 × 28AWG) Conductors × 4:Four 20AWG conductors made by twisting seven strands of 28AWG NOS (New Old Stock) tin-plated copper wire. The thicker NOS copper compared to the 22AWG LCNV conductors of the ORANGE USB brings richness in harmonics and a sense of musical density even in the USB path. Two pairs are assigned as signal lines and two pairs as power lines, supporting the transmission quality required by the USB standard from a material perspective.
- Individual Shielding Separation for Signal and Power Lines:Each of the signal line pair and power line pair is independently shielded with tin-plated copper braid. This fundamentally resolves the structural problem unique to USB cables where noise from the power line interferes with the signal lines.
- Additional Braid Shielding for the Entire Outer Surface (Double Shield Structure):An extra tin-plated copper braid shield is added outside the individual shields. This blocks external electromagnetic noise and high-frequency noise in two stages, thoroughly protecting the digital signal path.
- USB Type A-B / Type A-C, All Contact Hand-Soldered:You can choose either type when ordering. All contacts are finished with hand soldering by craftsmen.

【Stereophile (USA, 2017–2024)】Continued Listing in Recommended Components
The MAUVE Power Cable and MAUVE Speaker Cable have been continuously listed in the "Recommended Components" list of the authoritative American audio magazine Stereophile from 2017 to 2024. The long-term listing supports the musical completion and reliability of the MAUVE series.
【Audiophile Magazine (France)】MAUVE Series
"What I felt when using the MAUVE series was, above all, naturalness and accuracy of tone. I value this naturalness above anything else in audio cables, and I have always avoided cables that make the sound overly spectacular. MAUVE is the exact opposite."
