The sound of the MAUVE series has richer harmonics and a more musical roundness compared to the ORANGE series. Product Concept

When using a bi-wiring compatible speaker with a single-wire connection, the jumper cable that connects the woofer and tweeter terminals is part of the same signal path as the speaker cable. Continuously using the included metal plates or inexpensive cables as they are could potentially undermine the effects of carefully chosen speaker cables.

The Luna Cables MAUVE Jumper is a jumper cable that uses three LCNV 18AWG conductors, the same as the MAUVE Speaker. By unifying the materials and philosophy from the speaker cable to the jumper, the consistency of the signal path is maintained. For connectors, low-mass gold-plated bananas and gold-plated copper spades are available, and all contact points are hand-soldered.

LCNV is a proprietary copper conductor produced with Luna Cable's unique formulation and manufacturing method. By deliberately using vintage wire processing machines instead of state-of-the-art CNC machines, the conductor is given a unique crystal structure and flexibility that modern precision machinery cannot reproduce. This approach of leveraging the 'goodness of old things' in modern hi-fi is at the heart of the Luna sound.

In the MAUVE series, instead of the waxed cotton of the ORANGE series, a composite of paper, cotton, and varnish is useddielectricIt is adopted as such.dielectricThis term refers to the electrical characteristics of the insulating material covering the conductor, and the lower the dielectric constant of the material, the less unnecessary interference there is with the signal waveform. This composite, which combines varnish with natural materials such as paper and cotton, achieves both a low dielectric constant and high vibration-damping effect, minimizing interference with the signal while bringing out rich musical expression.

All Luna Cables are hand-soldered at each connection (All connections hand soldered). By unifying the material and structure from speaker cables to jumpers, no unnecessary changes occur in the signal path between bi-wiring terminals. The structure of 7 strands of 28AWG LCNV copper wires balances flexibility and mechanical stability.
• Low-mass gold-plated bananas / gold-plated copper spades:The banana connectors are low-mass gold-plated, and the spades are gold-plated copper. When ordering, you can choose either, or a mix (banana at one end and spade at the other). All connections are hand-soldered by craftsmen.
