The sound of the MAUVE series has richer harmonics and a more musical roundness compared to the ORANGE series. Product Concept (MAUVE XLR)

The Luna Cables MAUVE XLR is an interconnect that uses the same 20AWG NOS tin-plated copper conductors as the MAUVE RCA, finished with XLR connectors for balanced transmission. One 20AWG (7 × 28AWG) conductor per polarity connects balanced signal paths at low impedance between a preamplifier and power amplifier, or between a DAC and preamplifier. Paper-cotton-varnish compositedielectricMinimizes interference with signal waveforms, and the tin-plated copper blade shield blocks external noise. All contacts are finished with hand soldering.

All Luna Cables are hand soldered one connection at a time (all connections hand soldered). • Tin-plated NOS copper 20AWG (7 × 28AWG) conductors, 1 per polarity:One 20AWG conductor, made by twisting seven strands of 28AWG tin-plated NOS (New Old Stock) copper wire, is used for each polarity. NOS copper is an extremely rare material to obtain nowadays, preserving the crystalline structure and material properties from its time of manufacture. Compared to LCNV conductors, its sound has richer harmonics and a more natural roundness, reproducing the tone of instruments in a more three-dimensional and organic manner. The twisted wire structure balances flexibility with resistance to the skin effect.
• Paper/Cotton/Varnish Compositedielectric：A three-layer composite of paper, cotton, and varnish covers the conductor, simultaneously achieving low dielectric constant and high vibration damping. Plastic-baseddielectricIt has the low-interference characteristics to signals unique to natural materials, which cannot be obtained otherwise.
