Product Concept (MAUVE RCA)

The Luna Cables MAUVE RCA is an RCA interconnect that uses a single 20AWG NOS tin-plated copper conductor per polarity. The 20AWG conductor diameter is thicker than the 22AWG used in the ORANGE, ensuring transmission margin and low impedance. The structure, consisting of seven twisted strands, combines flexibility with resistance to the skin effect, using a paper-cotton-varnish composite.dielectricMinimizes interference with the signal waveform. The tin-plated copper blade shield blocks external noise, and the cotton jacket organizes the exterior. All contacts are finished with hand soldering.

In the MAUVE series, instead of the waxed cotton of the ORANGE series, a composite of paper, cotton, and varnish is useddielectricIt is adopted as such.dielectricThe term refers to the electrical properties of the insulating material that covers the conductor, and the lower the dielectric constant of the material, the less unwanted interference occurs in the signal waveform. This composite, which combines varnish with natural materials such as paper and cotton, achieves both a low dielectric constant and high vibration-damping effect, drawing out rich musical expression while minimizing interference to the signal.

All Luna Cables are hand-soldered at each connection point (All connections hand soldered).
