Hybrid structure of specially selected high-modulus CFRP × Neofade 4140

Through years of research, Eau Rouge combines specially selected high-modulus carbon fiber and unique molding to bring out a "musical and organic resonance" that ordinary carbon fiber cannot achieve.
Additionally, a single layer of Mitsubishi Gas Chemical's new damping material, Neofade 4140 (0.125mm thick), is hybridized. This achieves a delicate balance that reduces resonance peaks without dulling the most pleasing parts of the sound.

Ultra-thin vibration damping structure that preserves sound resonance

Typical resin-based damping materials can take away resonance, making the sound heavy and dull. SG-TOP uses an ultra-thin single layer of Neofade, carefully suppressing only unwanted vibrations while maintaining clarity, dynamism, and spatial presence in the music.

• When I introduced the CFRP board, the first thing I noticed was how much deeper the ‘background silence’ became. The characteristic lightness and high rigidity of carbon fiber effectively suppress not only the minute resonances inside the equipment but also the external air vibrations.
